Followup received from Gary Lunn, Min. of Natural Resources (to Jan.18 above).  Lunn acknowledges that the Department recognizes "the link between light pollution and energy efficiency". He goes on to say that the "(Clean Air Act) will set in motion a number of regulatory changes, including amendments to strengthen the Energy Efficiency Act, which establishes minimum energy efficiency standards for equipment, including lighting.". Unfortunately, they appear intent on building better refrigerators, but show no interest whatsoever in compelling people to use them once they're built.  The full letter is available to members here*
